The organisation’s commitment to strong financial discipline and improving internal efficiency continue to ensure our ongoing sustainability and focus on achieving our mission. Majority of this income was made available through Primary Healthcare Networks (PHNs) funded programs.

Over the past year, we have achieved significant milestones and made remarkable progress. Our efforts have not only strengthened our financial position but also expanded our reach and impact within the community.

APMHA made a surplus of $230K for the year. Our net assets position has improved from $1.7M to $1.9M compared to last financial year.

Our underlying funding and work with communities demonstrate our ongoing commitment in supporting vulnerable people impacted by mental health illness and collaborating to strengthen those socially excluded in our communities.

We have seen a substantial increase in our revenue and managed our resources effectively, ensuring that we can continue to provide high quality services to those in need.

There is increasing pressure on NFPs to demonstrate the impact and effectiveness of their programs. Funders and donors are interested in tangible outcomes and measurable results, which requires robust monitoring and evaluation systems.

We assess all funding opportunities through internal review processes to ensure services we fund are aligned with community needs and our strategic direction. Risk assessments are conducted, and business continuity plans are developed to ensure our services remain viable and effective. Funding acquittals are audited by an independent external auditor. We take our responsibility for transparent financial reporting seriously.

I would like to thank our Board of Directors and Senior Executive Team, for their guidance and support in shaping our financial strategy. We will continue to work diligently to ensure that our financial resources are used efficiently and effectively to make a positive impact on our community.
